Hi. I see you just joined us. I know that I waited for others to reach out. I wanted to reach out and welcome you. I have found this site helpful from time to time. It is a hard diagnosis to receive. Especially if the symptoms you have are life changing. My first symptoms were double vision and numbness. I still was able to be mobile and it affected me very little. Glasses first and then surgery corrected the vision problems. About three years ago my mobility became more affected. and that has been hard. I struggle sometimes, but am still moving on my own. Stay positive and if you need an ear or some support I am out here.

- It was part of the step down protocol after ending my Solumedrol treatment. It was 45 days. I went from 80 to 5mg daily. My side effects were euphoria and hyper activity.
- Solumedrol Working / Worked
- 5 day course for optic neuritis. Worked immediately, but I felt as if I were drowning in the drug by day 5.
