I have been in *forced* retirement since 9/07 when I was diagnosed with stage IV endometrial cancer. The good news is that I'm in remission. I also have COPD & use inhalers, a nebulizer & am on oxygen practically 24 - 7.... I'm hoping to get new ideas from the support group as well as meet new people!

Listening to Irish music ... as well as oldies, pop, rock, etc ... reading, reiki, meditation, tai chi, movies ... finding healthy recipes online ... Spending time with friends & family whenever I can ...

Close COPD & Emphysema
To have a better understanding of my symptoms & learning to differentiate when it's time to see the doctor.
Treatments
- Advair Working / Worked
- I use this inhaler 2 x a day ... works well ...
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- I use albuterol in my nebulizer as well as in an inhaler ... I get very shaky afterwards but it works well otherwise.
- Combivent Somewhat Helpful
- not taking it now ...
- Spiriva Working / Worked
- Still using this once a day ...
- Vicks VapoRub Working / Worked
- Sometimes I put a drop under my nose at bedtime to help me breathe ...
