Great to hear you'e on the move. Did you get your physical? Running is great if your body is up to it. I used to run up to six miles a day early in the morning. It motivated me for the rest of the day. This is something you have to build up to. Off the subjust....kind of,but here goes. Last year a friend of mine decided he would do the same thing and try running for depression. He's 6'4" and decided to take his border collie along with him on the run. The collie dropped dead of a heart attack about two miles into the run. I saw something very similiar just the other day here at my apartment. A young lady was jogging with her Pomeranian. The poor dog was trying his damndest to keep up with her and she thought she was helping her dog stay healthy as well. She saw what I was talking about immediately when I flagged her down and asked her to take a look at her dog.
Doug-
Yes. Its a slow build up for me. I'm up to about 2 miles per day. I take a couple of days off during the week. The only dog in the house is me! How are you doing? Rob
