The magical thinking I suffer from is "this time, I will win back what I lost". So instead of being fun and amusing, gambling has become a cycle of shame, excitement, remorse and dishonesty. I have lost all power over being able to "control" gambling. Do only gamblers who lose suffer? I think not. Eventually evryone loses
