Close Dementia
I am here because my mother has moderate dementia and has just been placed in a care facility and I want to see how other children of parents in similar situations are coping. I am also interested in gaining knowledge and helpful tips on how to help my mother when she is "sun-downing". Also I would like to lend support if someone needs it.
Close Alzheimer's Disease
I am here because I have a parent with dementia and I want to learn all I can to help her. I also want to hear from others with the same situation so we can help each other through a network of support and ideas.
