I got a text this morning from a wonderful friend (ironically a former patient of mine, same surgery and same bad results...). I had been very protective of her while she was under my care and now she is protective of me. God works in mysterious ways!
The text read..."Good morning, Sweetness! Can you please tell me 5 positive things that you can recall over the past 24 hours? :)".
I replied with the 5 things I could think of, and for once...in as long as I can remember I didn't think of anything else but good things that I had done....it was amazing...what a special way to start my day!
I updated my facebook status with this little rhyme that came off the top of my mixed up head...
"mirror mirror on the wall...if I jump will I still fall, and if I fall will I survive.........oh yes I will, I have the best friends alive!"
With this tragedy has come some of the most creative thoughts and images I have ever had... again...God works in mysterious ways!
Muaaah to everyone on this day...and all others after it!
