About Me
I am the mother of a Bipolar son who is 14 yrs old. My father had bipolar disorder and I exhibit s/s of it as well. I hate the fact that this is messing up my son's life and creating an already hormonal teenager's life more complications. I have tried many different combinations of meds but with no success longterm. I am a nurse and I feel really crappy that I can not help my son keep it together.

- Trazodone Somewhat Helpful
- He sleeps but he is still having some problems with his mood swings. Cussing is a huge issue right now.
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- worked for a long time he was very even on that med but grew tolerant of it. he was not sleeping anymore having night terrors and mood swings from hell.
- Concerta Working / Worked
- working no phone calls during the school day but no desire to work in the afternoon. hiding homework not doing a lot of reading in homework detention daily to get caught up.
