Close Myasthenia Gravis

Dx with MG in late 2006 and this year has been horrible for me. Looking to see what others have done when in my situation.

Treatments

Mestinon Working / Worked

This has worked for me, but I now take 4 180mg time span & between 6 & 9 60 mg regular throughout the day. It's a lot of pills to take. Not to bad with the side effects, for me at least.

Prednisone Working / Worked

I have had a lot of IV treatments with prednisone this year due to flare ups with my MG. Most recently on Sept 18 20 21 I had 500 mg which lasted until Oct 9th or so. I have taken 1 500mg IV three shots and 2 1000mg IVs since Oct 13 and it does not seem to be helping as weel as it has in the past.
