lost my husband last month. he was 41 years old. and im 37. exactly 2 years ago, he was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis due to Hepatitis C. his is not much heavy drinker but he started alcohol at an early age.he had esophageal varices which his doctor did variceal ligation about 6 times before he passed away last month. the first three was 3 months apart then every 6 months threafter. i had him hospitalized 3 times due to bleeding of his esophageal varices. just last month, 4 days before he died, he had a ligation again. days after, he had high fever so i confined him to the hospital, semi conscious, the doctors called it encepalopathy. the next day he died. so so so sad.he left me with 2 children aged 9 and 2. we go to the same office since 1995.since then, we were never separated for more than 5 days (those 5 days were the days he would represent our office during out-of-town seminars/trainings). he’s all I got. Im so dependent on him. My confidant, my bestfriend, my everything. Such a waste, he got cirrhosis.! He has a good life ahead.i used to call him computer wiz. One month had passed, im missing him more.my heart is breaking, my only consolation are my 2 kids who are missing their father more and more.now, im going back to work (the office we go to for the past 14 years) which is so painful.not seeing him anymore at his table..but I have to work to be able to sustain our financial needs.

Yes, cirrhosis is terribly tiring/exhausting. At present I have day/night reversal where I'll only sleep for an hour or so at night which leaves me exhausted and tired during the day. I don't know what the answer for it is........Craig
