    • See You Later

      From WolfgangMinerva October 25

I knew some fool would tell you they can swim with the gators. Every year some fool gets eaten. Doesn't matter that most of the time they don't attack people. It's the some of the time that matters. And they do eat dogs that like to swim. Believe me, I've been in the dog show world and visitors to our wonderful state have to be warned on every page of every catalog--up north we would take our water dogs to swim in the lakes near the show sites, CAN'T do that here.

OH, Myrtle Beach is your answer!!!! Can I come too??? LOL. And another thing I forgot to say, they no longer allow you drive on Daytona Beach. Ain't that sad?? You may drive on New Smyrna Beach. . . . . . . And I forgot about the dangerous rip currents, don't want to mess with that either . . . . . . there are so many possible warnings on any given day you have to check them out before you swim. . . . .

      Move to Myrtle Beach!

      Love to you.

    • Close Lupus

I have had lupus for about 13 years and we all need the support of others who understand what we live with.

      Treatments

      Azathioprine Working / Worked
Did not work for me. Took it for a little over a year.
      Cellcept Not Working
Took this one for six months and did not notice any difference at all
      Medrol Working / Worked
Definitely works when I have to use it.
      Methotrexate Not Working
This was first drug I took and took it for 18 months and it did help with the flare ups for a while. Then we tried it again in 2008 and I had a really bad reaction. Red blood cells dropped, liver enzymes went crazy. I thought I was going to die. By 3rd dose, I was a hospital. Don't know why I could not take it this time.
      Plaquenil Somewhat Helpful
Have been on Plaquenil for 8 years. Don't know if it works or not, but stay on it, just in case it does.
      Prednisone Working / Worked
Take it with every flare up, which is about once every six weeks. It takes 20-40 mgs to get it under control and sometimes it takes more.
