I was diagnosed with UC in December 2008.
Treatments
- Lialda Working / Worked
- This is currently working for me but I have had to work through some of the side effects. It tends to cause stomach pain especially if taken without enough food on your stomach.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I hate this medication...but it worked. When I was hospitalized this is what saved me. It's also what turned me into an insomniac with night sweats and severe acne all over my body.
- Probiotics Working / Worked
- I currently take culturelle and love it.
