I am here to find support in time of struggling with anxiety. I feel that I can also be a support to others by sharing my experiences with anxiety and how I have coped over the last twenty two years.
Treatments
- Breathing Exercises Somewhat Helpful
- Helps depending on the intensity of the attack
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- This medication did help for sometime. I don't recall why my primary care changed it. It's been years.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- It helped for some time but affected other areas of my life.
- Meditation Somewhat Helpful
- I've found meditation to be very helpful. I would usually use guided meditation cd's with earphones and it tends to take my mind off of the negative thoughts
- Paxil Not Working
- Terrible side affects
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- Always helpful in any situation.
- St. John\'s Wort Working / Worked
- Trazodone Working / Worked
- I am currently prescribed this medication however, I havent taken it in months. I dont like the lethargic feeling I have the next day. It tends to give me a delayed reaction to everything.
- Xanax Working / Worked
- Is what I am currently taking and it gets me through most nights depending on my anxiety level.
- Zoloft Not Working
- The worst ever. Tiggered an attack on my first dosage and gave me that worst attack I have ever experienced. Sent me to the hospital eleven years ago in an attack that lasted for hours.
- Celexa Working / Worked
- It helps me to feel like myself.

- Takes a load off but many times I'm feeling so down until I don't feel like doing anything.
