I couldn't walk with the crutches because I had to put all my weight on my leg that I have had two ops on.. so I had to use my foot with the fractured bone to walk with.  I went to my local hospital to ask their advice as I could not use the crutches.    After phoning the Consultant it appears that my advice was incorrect.  Even with my fractured bone I may walk, and go to work.  This is fantastic!    I can hobble about almost normally in my daily life.
