Treatments

Dietary Modification Working / Worked

became vegetarian and started properly combining my food and i am taking no medications and feeling pretty good.

Methotrexate Not Working

didn't work..don't even remember why, it was one of many that i wasted money on and ended up not using...

Prednisone Somewhat Helpful

when first diagnosed was given 30mg/day and it was the first time in a year that i didn't have horrible cramps and my stool firmed almost immediately...after a while the side effects started to get to me:severe sweating, anxiety, sleeplessness, mood swings, rage.....

Remicade Not Working

who knows if this overpriced infusion ever worked, but after about 5 treatments all of my joints swelled and it became so painful i could barely walk or function....they gave me more remicade because maybe i didn't get enough, not that this might be causing the swelling...a remicade induced lupis...pednisone to the rescue again...
