About Me
I'm a married homemaker with one daughter. I really love the Victorian lifestyle and my real passion is cross stitching scenes from the Victorian era. (I hope I can get back to that soon; I miss it) We have two cats (Charlie and Isabeau) and they are both spoiled rotten, but we love them. We are dedicated Christians, but my faith has been tested severely in the past three years since I've been diagnosed with this disease.

Close Graves' Disease
I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism three years ago.. The doctor put me on thyroid meds, but that wasn't working; his next suggestion was ROI or surgery. He explained the ROI would be the best option because of all the symptoms I was having. I did start to feel some relief after a while, but my thyroid levels still were not under control. I went back a couple of times to have the meds changed. When I started having probems with my eyes that;s when I was diagnosed with Graves Diseaae
Treatments
- Radioactive Iodine Working / Worked
- My thyroid was destroyed but I'm still experiencing syptoms of hyperthyroidism, Graves disease and thyroid eye disease. I am now on synthroid at 100 mcg to still lower the thyroid levels.
