    Give onionshop a hug

      From raczap Friday

Take a small pillow(sometimes helps you when walking). I didn't need. One friend @ work told me about that one. Take a back stratcher(pain meds. made me itch badly) & have them allow Benadryl ahead in case you need it for that reason. I had 2 spots of blood, didn't ever really bleed. Have no idea if that is normal or not (talk to dr.s nurse & see). I put my own gown on after the surgery(had a zipper from top to bottom. Worked well for them to check stuff out, but I was covered well & felt more normal (like being at home, comfortable). Don't bend over at all(you will feel this terrible pulling pain in your stomach). It will be 6 wks of being careful on this one. You don't want to get a hernia either. If you have dissolveable stitches what for some that don't. I still have one come out now & then over a 1 1/2 yrs later. A friend had one start pus(ing) & dr. had to cut it out in a regular appt. Can get infected! I was hungry after the surgery & wanted food (so take a few snacks just in case) You might not like the hospital food, I wanted hot chocolate too. I feel so put better since having my surgery. Back pain gone, no cramping anymore, etc. If you have any questions just email raczap@verizon.net Good luck & take care.....
