Close Depression
I find things very difficult to deal with sometimes especially at the moment as things are very difficult at home. I have two chronic lifelong illnesses, one which was recently diagnosed and I sometimes find things difficult in that respect.
Treatments
- Positive Thinking Not Working
- When I really try I do feel better but I find it really hard work and I feel a bit false sometimes.
- Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
- I have support from some great family and friends, but it isn't consistent.
- Writing Somewhat Helpful
- I try to keep my journal up to date, but I am very forgetful!
Close Asthma
Type: Adult AsthmaI was born with asthma so I am a veteran of the disease. However over the last few months it has taken a turn for the worse :o(
Treatments
- Advair Working / Worked
- I have recently had my dose increased (doubled in fact!), but so far so good!
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- Same as my other meds, all been recently changed after chronic chest infections.
- Serevent Working / Worked
- Medication was increased after numerous chest infections, seems to be working so far.
Open Diets & Weight Maintenance
I have always been large and have always hated it. I have lost about 4 stone, but now having trouble again :o(
Treatments
- Counting Calories Working / Worked
- It worked in the past but now finding it very hard since diagnosed with coeliac disease.
- Eating Healthier Foods Somewhat Helpful
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- Sometimes with my asthma I find it difficult to get to the gym.
- Slim-Fast Not Working
- Tried it, hated it, didn't work.
Open Loneliness
I always feel lonely and feel like I have to always face things alone as no-one will be there for me.
Open Celiac Disease
I was diagnosedin April and found it very hard to begin with, but slowly getting there, but help is always offered and greatfully received!
Treatments
- Gluten Free Diet Working / Worked
- Definitely working and my goodness do I feel better!!
