  I was probably not together with mine for as long as you've been married to yours but what I do know is-whether its a month or years of dealing with a crack addict, they are diffrent than who you got with and you have to just let them be and focus on you...the pain, confusion and tears we suffer trying to figure out loved ones out is exhausting and the lonilness can be overwhelming.. I'm grateful I can read stories from people like you and others on this site. It helps me to cope, fight to stay strong and know that I'm not alone.

  I hear ya about being alone rather than having a cheap imitation - that just about sums it up. I am all right, have a 9 year old who is feverish - hoping it is not that swine flu that is going around. there is a flu epidemic at his school

  I am so relieved to hear that you are safe. It is heartbreaking, I feel your pain and loneliness, but know that you have done what you can and he needs to realize that he needs to get serious help. I hope he turns up safe and ready to stop using
