I hope that you are doing well. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Before I joined this support group I did not have anyone to talk to that would understand the pain and frustration of having a chronic disorder. I hope that it will prove to be as much as a Godsend to you as it has been for me. Remember that you are not alone. Keep strong!

Close Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy
I have been recently diagnosed with RSD/CRPS. I had to learn everything about this disease on the Internet, as physicians do not know much about the disease.
Treatments
- Lyrica Not Working
- Terrible, Terrible drug. The side effects destroyed my body! I was on Lyrica for seven months; I gained eighty pounds, it ruined my teeth (nine root canals, extensive restoration) and finally withdrawing from it, was like getting off of Morphine. Be very careful, before considering using this drug!
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- I went to physical therapy for several months. It actually made the RSD worse.

Treatments
- Cymbalta Not Working
- I take it, because I have no side effects. however, I figure that it also helps with depression, so might as well stay on iy.
- Effexor Not Working
- Did not work.
- Lyrica Not Working
- A TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE medication. It caused the destruction of most of my FRONT teeth. In seven months, I gained 80 pounds. Getting off of Lyrica, was like withdrawing from Morphine or other Opiates.
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- I always feel worse after PT. I gave it five months. They tried everything. My Physiatrist wanted me to do a local anesthetic placing a ten inch needle into my stomach reaching a certain area on the spinal cord. After research I read one woman had this done 41 times with NO positive relief.
