Hi Zord,
Im still in a lot of pain off and on dueing the day but have got used to living with it. I have just gone through a rough week where my anxiety was at its worst but my Dr has put me on Antidepresion tablets which are helping a lot. I have never took drugs for deppresion and anxiety but I hit rock bottom.
These tablets do help and Im trying to look forward and to be more possitve.
Im off to fracture clinic a week this Thursday . Its been nearly 6 months since i broke my foot. Im gonna ask my consultant for a plan of action so I at least will know where I stand.
Im off to my fatherinlaws suprise 80th birthday tonight so Im just gonna start to getting ready. PS i might have one glass of wine then its pop for the rest of the night lol. How are you Zord are you feeling any better.

Sorry your feel bad at the moment, Iv'esent you this hug to tell you your not alone, Have a good cry you will feel much better afterwards, it works for me sometimes.
I cope with taking each day has it comes. I know it can be frustrating coping with cronic DVT because I have one too plus my broken foot.

Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
in short i have suffered from what has been described as a very extreme thrombosis. to quote one doctor "like something you would read about in a text book"!!!!!!!!!
Treatments
- Coumadin Too Soon to Tell
- i cant say im much of a fan of taking warfarin. i find it very diffcult on the stomach,very tiring not to mention the headaches, the oh so pale skin (sorry im a girlie girl!!!) the foggy mind, dizzy, head rushes (which seems to be easing off) and the horrific heavy periods.
- Heparin Working / Worked
- i was given heparin infections and a heparin infusion while in hospital. i personally didnt have any problems taking heparin apart of course from the run of the mill brusing. found it excellent.
