Sorry
Sorry the Remicade isn't working, I reacted bad to it, real bad. Something to make sure they check is for Celiac, because if Crohn's patients are not responding to meds they should check for flat villi in the small intestine. Myself and two other cousins with the dreaded C disease are all now gluten free and we respond to meds much better.

Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
I was just diagnosed in August and I'm not getting much better. I'm trying to balance going to college full time, work part time and all the on campus activities I do, while being sick. My friends don't understand the severity of the situation so I thought this would be a good place to start.
Treatments
- Dietary Modification Working / Worked
- I am on a very low residue diet right now. I was on this before and then went off and deffinitely noticed a difference when I went off. Though I love food, it does not love me :(
- Entocort Working / Worked
- I'm still on it, I don't know if it works or not.
- Flagyl Working / Worked
- I got this in the hospital a few months ago.
- Remicade Working / Worked
- Not working yet, but we're doubling the dosage.
- Asacol Working / Worked
- Im not sure yet but Im hopeful
