About Me

My husband, age 49 was diagnosed with esophageal cancer stage IV 2b June 4, 2009. Everyday I have him with me is a blessing. He never had GERD, nor acid Reflux. He was a 6 day a week runner, non smoker, never having any symptoms until a month before diagnosis. Swallowing difficulties. He was misdiagnosed for two months with achalasia and went in for surgery when the surgeon fund the cancer. This is after 2 barrium swallows, a monometry, and 2 endoscopy's
