Riccardo...do all the research you can and then go with your gut. Having surgery was the best decision I ever made. I wish I had made it sooner. I finally feel like I' m living again! There is no doubt about it though...this takes work. I'm at the gym 5 days a week, but I love every minute of it. I have to eat slowly. I'm not currently allowed bread, rice or pasta (for 9 months) and never allowed to have caffiene. I'm alright with that, if it means being healthier. Change your attitude about food now...it will make everything so much easier. When people say aren't you sad that you can't have so and so anymore, I turn it around and focus on all the things I CAN have. Life is all about perspective. I'll be praying for you as you make your decision.

I have always been overweight to one degree or another im diabetic have high clorestrol and high blood pressure I have lost the weight at least 3 times in my life but it always comes back my farther was not heavy but died of cancer at 63 my mother was always heavy and a diabetic she died at 64 from colon cancer Iam afaird that if I dont take control soon I will die in the next 10 years I am only about 70 pounds over weight and Im hungry all the time
