About Me
I worked as a paralegal for almost 30 years. July 31, 2008 I had to retire due to symptoms of MS, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue. I have been a jewelry designer for 3 years and really enjoy this artistic outlet. However, I have had a difficult time working on jewelry due to pain and/or tremors in my hands as well as depression associated with my illnesses and leaving my job.

Treatments
- Acupressure Working / Worked
- Finding the right practitioner is the key - but this is so helpful
- Acupuncture Considering
- Would love to use but insurance will not cover and I don't have the income to cover the cost.
- Adderall Working / Worked
- Works sometimes but at times the fatigue is so great I can take 10 mg. of Adderall and go back to sleep for 12 hrs.
- Aqua Therapy Not Working
- I cannot use a hot tub due to having multiple sclerosis
- Cyclobenzaprine Not Working
- Did not help at all
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Heat helps the deep muscle pain and the pain in the back of my head when I get migraines
- Lyrica Somewhat Helpful
- The trade-off - lessening of the shooting pains and pins and needles pain for the severe (and I mean severe) migraines just wasn't work it.
- Neurontin Not Working
- My doctor had over prescribed the dose and I had horrible side effects - suicidal thoughts, irrational thoughts and behavior, etc. Needless to stay I stopped taking this medication.
- Ultram Somewhat Helpful
- Helps very little. Also seems to give me MORE of a headache.
