About Me
My drama started when I was 8 years old when my knees started dislocating with any activity more than walking. I wasn't able to participate in PE classes or enjoy the sports I played with friends anymore. I slowly started to become overweight. I ended up having surgery when I was 14 on one of my knees, they attempted to tighten the ligaments in my knee to hold the knee in place better. Low and behold, the surgery didn't work. I just became heavier and heavier from depression and lack of exercise. I could write a book about it and what took place with my life until the present, but I'm just trying to introduce my story for now.

Hi Heather, I understand your 7 year ache. I waited on the list in Nova Scotia for 4 years and was then told Nova Scotia stopped doing the surgery. I had to move to the bottom of 3 year list in New Brunswick and only had my first consultation Sept/09 It feels like year after year of our lives keeps being sucked away by waiting times. I lost my entire young adulthood to this disease and I know how frustrating it is for you. Hang tight! We'll get there.

I am going to do some research and let you know. My nutritionist recommended Lean Cusines, Healthy Choice since these are proportioned. Iknow I will get bored of that real real quick.
