Hi My name is Rita and i had cancer in my right kidney in Jan 2009and had to have my kidney completely out. The Dr said they got it al and so far so good. i go in Dec for another scan and see if evrything is the same. I know it is scarey but we have to trust god and he will take care of us no matter what. I went back to work I am doing ok. Hang in there we are all praying for you.

Close Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer)
Late August I was diagnosed with a 5 cm mass in right kindey. Partial nephrectomy done 9/9/09. Path reports showed margins benign as well as kidney benign. Mass center was Stage 2 renal cell carcinoma. Home healing now, going back to work 10/20/09.
Treatments
- Nephrectomy Working / Worked
- Mass is gone, he said he got it all, but what if it is some place else. Awaiting PET scan and oncology referral. Still site pain but overall not the worst I have been through.
