As many of you know, I was diagnosed with a Pulmonary Embolism in my right lung towards the end of September 2009. I was out of school and work for a while, but now I am back to school full time and have been on a stable Warfarin dose of 4mg for a few weeks now. I will get my INR checked again this week to be sure it is still a good level for me. Due to concerns about a cardiac stress test (done prior to PE diagnosis), my Primary doctor will not let me go back to work until I am cleared by a cardiologist to do so. I have gone to the Cardiologist for an ECHO (ultrasound of my heart) and should get the results back this week. Hopefully, this means I will be returning to work next week! I owe any and all improvements in my health to God, and am very thankful for every bit of strength I gain back during my recovery process. More updates later.
