Im a 31 year old college graduate with alcohol and drug addiction problems that I have let destroy my life. After being arrested for drugs while working for the state government my story became national news. I have since gone to jail and treatment and am now living with my grandmother who is about to die from cancer. Im trying to put my life back together but sometimes it seems like it would be easier to just disappear.

Close Meth Addiction & Recovery
I am a meth addict. After almost 6 months of sobriety I got loaded and am struggling to get back to where I was. Meth took everything from me in a short period of time. My boyfriend is in prison, I lost my house, my car, my families trust, my IRA, my credit score... I live with & take care of my grandma who is about to die of cancer and drugs/alcohol are the only way I know to deal with any emotion. This sucks.
Treatments
- Detox Working / Worked
- It worked, I think I learned alot but I was stupid and relapsed after I was clean for almost 6 months. I started calling people I used to kick it with.
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Working / Worked
- It works, when you work it.
