This weekend was a good weekend.The weather was beautiful and I helped my best friends paint their daughters new home. Our children are also best friends. Steph was always special to Chris so I had to be there for her and Sean and help them with their new house. It gave me a purpose and I was surrounded by my friends who loved my son. On sunday we celebrated their other daughters, Lauren's first wedding anniversary, She and her husband were very good friends of Chris'. These people are my second family and without them I know we would not being getting through the days. They nurture and care for my husband, my sons and my daughter. They are there day in and day out. I love them. I thought of Chris during the dinner and how much he too loved these people and how much we all miss him. I only shed gentle tears in loving thoughts of my baby. I still miss you more then I can ever say, with every breath I take I will miss and love you......

Wasn't it a beautiful weekend? We've all been due some nice fall weather to help lift our spirits a little. I'm so happy to hear you had a happy productive time with friends and family. Those are always good times to remember. Hope you have a good week! Cherie

I am so glad you have such special friends.. it is so nice to have those people in our lives and they do help us on this journey.. glad you had a nice weekend... we had weather in the 70's.. not bad for Ontario weather..

It is so good to hear that you had a weekend with loving friends. My friends have been so much a part of my healing process. We are blessed indeed to have the richness of heart that comes with true friendship.
I know each day is a challenge, some are better than others, and the missing part, well I am learning to live with that, but it is so hard to do.

It is wonderful to have special friends like that. We have a couple that we have been friends with since our kids were little and they have really been here for us through this. She is not afraid to talk with me and she will cry with me and I know her tears come straight from her heart. It is a blessing to have friends like these. Hugs, Kim
