I am a mom of three beautiful little boys 3 1/2, 2 1/2 and a year. I keep myself pretty busy with all of them. I live in a three bedroom house with the boys, my husband and 2 cats a black and a tabby. I work full time as an office manager/bookkeeper for an accounting firm. Im a busy woman, my kids are my first priority.

Close Bipolar Disorder
I am dealing with the effects of making bad decisions due to periods of mania an depression related to bipolar disorder. I am here to gain insight and offer support and friendship.
Treatments
- Abilify Working / Worked
- Abilify worked pretty well but it made me extremely sleepy and also jittery. I am not currently taking it.
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Working / Worked
- DBT taught me a lot of things and a lot of ways of looking at things that were more focused and less emotional. I highly recommend DBT
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- I was on Lamictal briefly but got a rash and had to be switched to abilify.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- This seemed to keep me on a pretty even keel when I was taking it with the Abilify but it was much harder to experience emotion.
