How have you been?
You are more than welcome. I also have struggles with this, and from one day to the next, I have no idea if I'm going to have a successful day or dive. We just have to remember that with as many flaws as we have, we have twice as many attributes that make us unique and more than worthy of love, affection, a second chance but moreover, forgiveness. Wives are the most committed creatures on earth, and if you do a little, she will return a lot. That is a sure thing with most women. You seem so willing to do the work, so the rewards will soon pour in. It doesn't seem like it some days, but those are the days that you are more than welcome to reach out to me for a bit of reassurance. And if you don't mind, maybe you could return that thoughtfulness to me at some point. By no means is my life perfect, but I do believe that for now, it's as perfect as my perfect could be.....and I am really OK with that. I just keep shooting for the next level whenever I have the ambition and courage to put myself "out there".....Keep talking, keep looking for that job to get your bills paid, keep putting your energy into your wife, because then your marriage prospers if nothing else.....Just keep on keepin on, my friend......and I'm here whenever you need a word of encouragement.
I'm glad you wrote and I'm pleased that my message to you touched a button. I understand your quest, I really do......Just take those antidepressants at night before you hit the sheets, maybe keep them on top of your computer keyboard and always a bottled water close by. :-)
ADD is running my life instead of me running it. My home life has suffered because of it and I'm tired of blamming ADD for my actions and for hurting the people I love especially my wife.
