  I'm with you. I too have a 13 year old with A.S. I also have 2 younger children. My youngest is 6 years he has been dianosed with ADHD, ODD, and OCD. Their neuropsychologist said my 13 year olds emotional outbursts and tantrums are increasingly worse because of puberty & hormones. He said children with A.S can't understand the changes their bodies are going through so they act it out with emotions. She talked about hurting herself onetime so I drug her off for counceling. They put her on Zoloft. It helped a little. Now as for ODD, my 6 year old has been in anger management for almost a year now that has helped a little he is on the Daytrana patch. Meanwhile all knives & sharp objects are still locked up.
