Wanted to give you a shout out to let you know I saw we've accepted each other as friends! Thanks!! I can't wait for us to get to know each other more. One thing is that you're a librarian and I'm a big reader...maybe you could suggest some good books for me to read? Close Retinal Detachment
AFter being severely myopic all my life, I had a retinal detachment in my left eye at age 35. I had scleral buckle surgery, and all went well. At that time, I also had some thin spots lasered in my right eye. Of course,after the scleral buckle, I was even more nearsighted, so recently I had PRK, which improved my sight to almost 20/20, which is amazing. However, two weeks ago, I started having a vitrous detachment in my right eye, and am hoping it does not develop into a retinal detachment.
