Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis

I have had Crohn's disease for over twenty years and am now dealing with the disease on top of pregnancy. The pregnancy has brought about a significant flare up to what had been a disease in remission. I am looking for others who have been pregnant or who are pregnant with Crohn's.

I personally have to avoid many dairy products, as well as raw fruits and vegetables.

Azathioprine Somewhat Helpful

This did a NUMBER on my immune system. I am so happy NOT to be taking it anymore.

Azulfidine Working / Worked

Flagyl Working / Worked

Prednisone Working / Worked

I hate the side effects, but it is much better to take this during a flare than to be hospitalized.
