I am a full time student, and I work 2 jobs at Kohl's and a local car dealership. I am studying to teach high school science I keep myself busy so I don't have to deal with things that come up in day to day life. I love my 2 dogs very much, but I love my family even more. I miss them so much since they live an hour from me.

It is a very hard thing to lose ones parents its like what am I suppose to do now?How can I help those left behind when I can't help myself? Well right now sweet heart just give it to God have God take over and bring you peace. He understands what it is like to lose those who are very close in you life especially your Father. Now is you time to cry and back away somewhat while you are being heal yourself. When You feel stronger yourself God Bless!

Type: Loss of a ParentMy dad died suddenly, and no one told me until I walked into the room. I saw him the day before and we had made plans to go see Nickleback just after my 20th birthday. The next day while he was at work, he had a blood clot that traveled to his heart and killed him instantly. It was painless, and very sudden. He was just released from the doctor 3 days before he died. My family called my boyfriend to bring me up to them. Now, I feel like I am dealing some, but my siblings and mom are not.

- I feel better in the moment, but not long term when I cry.

- I have been in counseling before, but I was released. It is difficult this time because I can't help mom and my siblings. Also, I feel like other friends are not being the support they should be.

- I cry on my dogs when I deal with any kind of crisis. They help because I feel like they rely on me for things, and I can't give up on my goals and improving myself so I can continue to help them.

- I was raised in a very faithful household, and it remains a prominent part of my life. I pray about a lot of things a lot of the time. Sometimes it is hard to remember that things work out in God's time, not in our own time.

- I spend as much time with my family as I can. It seemed to help us all to be together. My best friend lost her dad suddenly about a month before I lost my dad, and we talk and spend time together as well.
