Close Bipolar Disorder
I have been diagnosed with Bi-polar I and am in counsling and see a psychiatrist. I am also diagnosed with agorphobia GAD and panic attacks. My dr's have mentioned borderline personality disorder as well.
Treatments
- Depakote Not Working
- did not work. Do not use anymore.
- Geodon Considering
- my dr is thinking about putting me on this medication.
- Lamictal Not Working
- Made me very edgey and panic-y and had freaking out episodes. did not last long on this.
- Lithium Working / Worked
- am currently on this. I find this helpful. 900mg a day a nightime.
- Risperdal Working / Worked
- this worked but gave me terrible side effects. It gave me nightmares and I lost my sex drives.
- Topamax Working / Worked
- Love this b/c it takes away my headaches and reduced my appetite
- Trileptal Working / Worked
- came off b/c I switched dr's.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- Made me suicidal and paranoid.
- Zyprexa Working / Worked
- my dr took me off for fear of weight gain.
Close Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI suffer from Bi-polar. With major hi's and lows. I have depression as equally as i do manic.

- I have heard good things about this and that it helps with weight loss!
- Effexor Not Working
- made me suicidal.
- Geodon Considering
- my dr is considering putting me on this.for what reason i'm not sure. I'm here to educate myself on things so i know more about my dr's decisions
- Lexapro Not Working
- I beleive i was on this at one point. and it didn't work obviously b/c i'm off of it.
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- when i can calm myself down i step away from the situation. yes this works, but thats rarely
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- i keep going.
- Trazodone Working / Worked
- using this currently for sleeping. AMAZING. helps me get muich needed sleep
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- made me suicidal
- Writing Working / Worked
- helps me release. a personal journal. not an online journal.
