  Information is always the way to start, just remember that the Dr. always give you the worse case so you will not be surprised at what you get.The main thing is to discuss with you partner if you can deal with a child that will have therpay visits and Dr. visits for the first years of life.Also when adopting there are stipens(moneys) that will help you with taking care of the child and medicaid to pay for the therpays and health care so thoes worries are off the table for you.Just remember that even your own child by birth could have this problem.No child is born perfict(sp).These are all the things we worried about when adopting GOD Bless.
