OCD since age 10 or 11.....yup, washing hands, everything else
Treatments
- Lexapro Somewhat Helpful
- helped alot, reduced anxiety and social anxiety, but caused apathy and tiredness and social withdrawal because i didnt care about anything. still some OCD
- Paxil Working / Worked
- helps alot with OCD and anxiety.....but depression...it doesnt seem to help with that much. just makes me apathetic and puts me in a hypodopaminergic state
- Remeron Not Working
- made OCD terrible.....
- Seroquel Somewhat Helpful
- helps to sleep. but i don't particularly like it because its an antipsychotic
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- very helpful with depression and OCD and anxiety, but just as always with all the SSRIs, lowers dopamien levels so i feel tired, apathetic and just dont really care about anything
- Nicotine Gum Working / Worked
- helped a TON with OCD symptoms. there is research to back up this claim... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15610934
