About Me
As a physical therapist, I’m constantly meeting new patients seeking my services. Not too long ago, I was diagnosed with cancer. During conversations with other patients I found myself intrigued with each person’s story of getting through the cancer. Realizing the positive impact of these conversations, I decided to write a book titled Victor Not Victim My Battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I felt it would be a great way to share my cancer story with others like patients I met along the way.

Little Love
Ray of Sunshine
Tis great to know other people have gone through or are going through the same thing... here's a lil' San Diego sunshine as I'm quite over the "heat" we're having here! Thought I'd share the wealth, hee, hee!

Close Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Type: Nodular SclerosisI'm a physical therapist who overcame Hodgkin's Lymphoma in January 2008 and know newly diagnosed patients have questions and concerns I can probably help them with. I currently provide cancer rehabilitation for the hospital clinic I work for.
Treatments
- ABVD Working / Worked
- It saved me! Mid-way through my treatments my PET scan showed decreased activity. While my overall level of energy dimished throughtout my treatments, I was able to continue work and exercise at a modified capacity.I'm pretty bald to begin with so losing my hair wasn't too much of a problem. I did, however, mind losing my eyebrows
- Radiotherapy Working / Worked
- 17 sessions was all I needed to complete my treatments. I received treatment to my mantle region resulting in a sore throat and a winter time tanning in the area of treatment.
