I'm 44 have fibromyalgia and a crappy heart LOL . I'm always lookin for friends who share my interests or who want to share new ones with me ... just found out last Friday I've been suffering from "panic attacks" and not early menopause for the past 20+ YEARS!!!!!

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionHi I'm Dreamwalker I was diagnosed with clinical depression several years ago . I have insomnia and my doctor also saw the signs of depression . I went to see a counsleor and never got past that person . At this point I'm not seeing anyone because the counsleor I was going to at one point during a session I realized I was just watching the clock on the wall waiting for the hour to be I looked at my counsleor and she was staring at the clock too!!!
Treatments
- Effexor Not Working
- Elavil Not Working
- Paxil Not Working
- Had severe black outs !
- Prozac Not Working
- caused me to become unable to function on any level!
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- My daughters talk with me when things get bad . My oldest daughter will stay on the phone all night if I need her
- Trazodone Not Working
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- Writing Working / Worked
- I keep a daily journal it helps
Open Chronic Pain
I've suffered from fibromyalgia since i was 17 . I'm going to be 45 this coming Thursday . I also have a very weak heart . I was on a heart transplant list , my heart improved to 36% works ... Due to the above i have clinical depression . All of this in one way or another causes me chronic all over pain 99% of the time ...
Treatments
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- This one is my favorite it really has done wonders to help take some of my daily pain . I find my depression has improved also
- Marijuana Somewhat Helpful
- I use it in a tea form . It's kind of a hit and miss . There have been times when it really helped with the pain and even helped me sleep . However it doesn't help every time so I use it as a last resort ...
- Morphine Working / Worked
- This helps my daily pain .
Open Panic Attacks
For the past 20 years I thought I'd been just living with early menopause after haveing a full hystrectomy when i was 23 . I've just suffered thru it all and never asked any of the various doctors I've visited over the years ... Then this past 2 months maybe more things got to be so severe I just felt I couldn't deal with it any longer ... This is a very very long story so I'd like to post all of it in a seperate thread .
