Close Myasthenia Gravis
Diagnosed on June 1, 2007. Thymectomy in July of 2007. Been fighting this crap ever since.
Treatments
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- It's been a year since I started taking it. Not really sure if it is working or not.
- IVIG Working / Worked
- I usually get these every two weeks. I almost feel normal with these.
- Mestinon Working / Worked
- This definitely works in the short term, but anything after 8 hours and the symptoms come on hard.
- Thymectomy Working / Worked
- Don't think it worked because its been two years already and I'm still fighting the symptoms.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Taking this, currently at 10mg or 20mg per day, depending on how I feel. Not really sure if it works or not.
