About Me
I've joined the forum because I'm interested in the group who used to belong to the Pituitary Foundation Forum. I've had strange experiences with this charity and would like to compare notes. I'm a retired teacher, very interested in head injury since the suicide last year of our son.

Close Acromegaly
I don't have acromegaly but I believe our son suffered from pituitary dysfunction following a head injury in childhood.
Close Prolactinoma
I'm here because our son committed suicide last year aged 31, and we believe he may have had pituitary damage arising from a long ago head injury when he was seven. We discovered he had been impotent. Towards the end of his life he complained of headaches and we now wonder if something untoward was happening in his pituitary. I'd be interested to know if any people suffering from prolactinoma remember a previous head injury. Even mild head injury can cause pituitary damage.
