Hi, I am a 47yr old mother of 4 and grandmother of 7.I have been suffering from joint pain and other symptoms since last year. Thank God for a very supportive loving husband.Diagnosed with Lymes Oct.2008, stroke Dec.2008. Still going to all different kind of drs. Not one can figure out what is going on with me.

Family, especially grandkids. Gardening, camping, fishing and just being around family and friends. Although not much of the social thing since this illness has hit me.

Sure sounds as though you would benefit from treatment from a Lyme Literate Doctor. It may be that all of your medical issues stem from your Lyme disease. I went for 22+ years before being correctly diagnosed and when I was, it was still difficult to find a doctor to connect all the dots. Getting on long term treatment for Lyme and the co-infections really made the difference in my life.Unfortunately,you can usually only get this through a LLD.Good luck!

Close Chronic Pain
I have been dealing with joint pain and exhaustion since Oct. 2008. Dec. had a stroke caused from migraine they say.Was paralyzed 3 days but regained all back.Very lucky.Still having severe pain and now am just waiting for more test and hopefully answers.Get a picc line in tomorrow.Antibiotics 28 days iv.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- used it for migraines 1st and it worked then for fibromyalgia and did not work.lots of weight gain
- Heat Working / Worked
- still use it when needed. helps a little but not always
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- vicodan on for a while worked for a little bit.
- Lidoderm Working / Worked
- worked for a short period of time.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- did not work at all for me
- Mobic Working / Worked
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- percocet. Worked for a while. Get to immuned to it.
- Topamax Working / Worked
- allergic too.
Close Lyme Disease
diagnosed with lymes in oct.2008. Been suffering ever since. Most drs I've been too felt after a month of treatment I'm cured.But the pain has worsened.Migraines came back too,one caused me to have a stroke in Dec.2008. Nobody seems to understand very much.Go for a insertion of picc line tommorrow morning.

- Doxycycline Not Working
- Been on it twice no relief
- Pamelor Working / Worked
- Used for fibromyalgia. I think this might have worked a little but not sure. I was taking so many different drugs at the time was hard to tell.Dry mouthconstipationtiredness
