      My 10 yr old son has ADHD and I feel like I am the only one dealing with this problem but I know there are many families that face the struggles we do.

      Treatments

      Adderall Working / Worked
      The adderall really made a difference for J at school but the side effects were difficult for him to handle and he refused to take the medication any more.
      Concerta Working / Worked
      Concerta was the first med we tried and the side effects were really quite harsh so we switched to adderall and that was not much better (as far as the side effects).
      Tenex Too Soon to Tell
      After being off the meds for 3 months we are trying Tenex, the Dr. told us that this med would not have the side effects of the other meds.
