    • About Me

I am 52 yrs old, and have had probably a 1000 tick bites in my life, as I have always lived in the country and ticks were just an annoyance like a mosquito. I have late-stage lyme, I don't know how long, at least 10 yrs, but was only just now diagnosed this spring when I got reinfected and things spiraled out of control. I finally know it's not MS, not all in my head, not chronic fatigue. At first that was exciting, that my problems had a name and was real. But now that I have started on this road, it's a rough road to travel. I am married, have 2 grown kids and 7 grandkids. Presently unable to work.

      From lauralpn Wednesday

You made me laugh, thanks for the prayer hugs and the funny face! I know this will pass, just seems like everything all at once.
The main thing with the drugs you're on is to drink the water -- 2-3L per day.

Hi. I can't take sulfa drugs (allergic) so all I can do is look things up in my textbooks. The next best thing to being there, right? I am struggling. Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Struggling. But God is faithful and He's holding on to me.

Amen to what you said. God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in time of trouble.
I am trusting in His plan, but that doesn't mean I have to like it, right?

Thanks for the hug. Not feeling too well, actually, feeling worse the longer I am off the abx. Titer up by 250, so not good news. I really enjoyed your messages, have to answer soon. I so appreciated what you had to say. Hope you are doing well. I will write soon.

Thank you so much! I'm not a support group type of person, but this whole thing has beaten me down. The month of not knowing what was wrong and having to scream at people to help me. Trying to remain positive and be grateful it wasn't MS, etc. I got to this website and feel like I am not alone with this. So thank you because I really needed that today!
