Close Trigeminal Neuralgia
I have had the pain for about seven years. All along I thought it was tooth pain. I continually went to the dentist. In that time I have had several deep cleanings and my wisdom tooth extracted. These were all reasons that the dentist gave for my pain. Finally, in October of 2008 I was diagnosed with TN. I had had another deep cleaning and about 3-4 wks later the pain began again. The dentist finally told me it wasn't my teeth. So I went to my primary care physician who sent me to a neurologist
Treatments
- Trileptal Working / Worked
- 600 mg per day. With the neurontin it makes me sleepy.
