  Ahh i just logged on to give you your 'official' birthday hug and you logged off just as i clicked chat! missed you by seconds..(update, you came back, left and came back again. ffs)
  
  OK, well what can i say. It is now the 27th of November meaning that we have known each other for 16 days, i managed to work that out using my superb mathematical knowledge, and in those 16 days i have already come to regard you as a blessing in my life. Not really sure what to say, i suppose i could tell you how beautiful you are but i tell you that alll the time and probably wayyyyy too much so what i can say is that since we've spoken i have already come to view you as a kind, intelligent and funny woman whom i love spending time with and who i know is going to be an amazing friend.
  
  Last night, i looked out into the stars before i went to bed and i had a kind of spiritual experience. Even though i have learned about stars for years i have seldom just stared at them and thought about my place in the universe, it's normally been about how much mass there is, or what does their spectrum look like lol but last night i thought to myself wow, we are so insignificant.... That got me thinking, are we actually insignificant... and to be honest i don't think we are, if anything, the fact that i was stood there, in the cold, staring at stars and questioning my own significance drew me to the conclusion that we are actually very, VERY priveliged to be here... living!! Ya see, we all have problems, and issues that make us think that life is a curse, or life is a rehersal, when actually we have been blessed with a short time on this earth to make something of ourselves!!
  
  I know you've had a hard time recently with things, and i know i am rubbish at sentiment, but i really believe there is more to life than 'the daily grind' and that everyone has a purpose. although the physical form comes when we're born, and goes when we pass away, we are spiritual beings and that spirit which we carry has meaning, we do not fade away and we are capable of so much that we can't even comprehend... you, can do anything you want if you put your mind to it, anything.
  
  Ok, so getting back to the birthday hug, it's times like last night, when i had a spiritual moment, that i realize just how damn lucky i am to be here now, and that i am also lucky to have you as my friend, right here, right now. I hope you and your husband have a great day, and i wish you happiness for your future, on this birthday and each birthday yet to come.
