Close Cirrhosis
My sister in-law has hepatitis C and cirrhosis.She started vomiting blood two weeks ago, and they mis-diagnosed her with an ulcer. She has gastric varices, and has been in the hospital going on 3 weeks. She was transferred to a hospital that does the TIPS procedure, and we will find out tomorrow if she is a candidate.
