I have tried for 3 years to stop the SSRI's..I get so ill when tappering and remain sick on them. 20 years on a med that makes me worse..if thats possible.I hope we can talk some time about this in detail..take care. x

hey, I had years of the wrong meds also! It makes you angry doesnt it, knowing things could be different? I feel for you, but I try and focus on atleast now things can get right. hope you feel better soon x

I am a 42 year old woman in Australia. I have Bipolar II and Panic and Anxiety Disorders. I am also a 10 years sober member of AA.
Treatments
- 12 Step Program Working / Worked
- ten and a half year sober
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- ten and a half year sober
- Detox Working / Worked
- Wish I had been in a detox - detoxed at home without help - don't do it.
- Willpower Working / Worked
- AA works by taking away the compulsion to drink. Trying to stay sober on willpower doesn't work
Open Bipolar Disorder
I am a 42 year old woman in Australia. I have Bipolar II Disorder and Panic and Anxiety Disorders. I am a 10 years sober member of AA.
Treatments
- Lithium Working / Worked
- I have lost nearly everything and nearly my life to Bioolar Disorder. I work at a rate of 100% on recovery but I continue to relapse and simply cannot rebuild my life. My relapses constitute falling straigh back into S* Depression everytime. I have e very good care team now but stillremain very ill and on the brink a lot of the time
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- Has worked in the past for a long while, but has started to not work so well.
Open GERD & Heartburn
I had a Lap Band put in in March 2007, It was a disaster. I had the band taken out but the daily choking and throwing up continue. It's a mechanical type of choking - it's not reflux - I choke immediately when I eat - not later with half digested food etc. I believe that scar tissue has formed inside my oesophegus thus narrowing the swallowing apeture. My surgeon has me following all sorts of bling alleys and doesn't care about my progress one bit. It's terrible. I don't know what to do.
