Close Pseudotumor Cerebri
I was diagnosed with PTC in June 2009.
Treatments
- Acetazolamide Working / Worked
- 2gday along with prednisone which I am now trying to taper off of for a second time. Last time I attempted to taper off the prednisone I my vision took a hard hit including issues with seeing color. Side effect from diamox tingling face feet and hands and tired
Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
Diagnosed in November 2008 with "early stages Crohn's disease. My mother had Crohn's disease - diagnosed when she was 17.
Treatments
- Asacol Not Working
- I did not like Pentasa at all. It actually hurt. :(
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- This is pretty much what I do right now and deal with the pain, etc. when I completely mess up by eating the wrong thing. :(
- Dietary Modification Considering
- I would like to find a nutritionist covered by my benefits.
- Lialda Not Working
- I felt more sick on this than not on it, so I stopped it.
